Three Extinction Rebellion activists were allegedly assaulted in a Leamington Spa hotel car park by off-duty members of the National Eviction Team (NET).
The incident took place on Sunday 4th October at the Ramada Hotel car park in Leamington Spa.
Eyewitnesses say members of the NET blocked activists in the car park and attempted to drag two men from a vehicle.

The National Eviction Team is a security firm that carries out evictions and enforcement on behalf of the high-speed rail project, HS2.
Sources say that a male activist from the south-west was treated at a hospital for a fractured jaw.
A spokeswoman for the National Eviction Team said;
“We are aware of an incident which is being investigated by the Police.
This incident took place away from any site operations and after the individuals concerned had finished work for the day.
They were not engaged in any activity for the National Eviction Team at the time.
We will cooperate fully with any request for information from the Police but, as the matter is under investigation, cannot comment any further.”
The Extinction Rebellion activists had been working earlier that day at an Anti-HS2 camp in Cubbington.
Warwickshire Police said it was investigating a report of an assault.
A spokeswoman said;
“Two males were allegedly assaulted. One suffered a serious face injury. No arrests at the moment.”
